Speaking for Ourselves members:

1. Will be invited to attend quarterly membership meetings, annual retreats, national conferences, and any other fundraiser's and events.
2. Are allowed to vote and run for positions on the Speaking for Ourselves board.
3. Will receive newsletters and letters from the board updates.
4. Will be kept up-to-date on opportunities to influence policy and legislation.
5. Will have the opportunity to attend workshops to strengthen business and social skills, develop relationships with community members, and become a part of the Community Bound Leaders program (read about it under Community Events)
6. Will be invited to attend their local chapters meetings and events
7. Will make lots of new friends and learn how to be a self-advocate!
